A student in a suburb of St. Louis was beaten on a school bus earlier this week because of his seat choice. On KMOX radio, I had the chance to listen and comment on the the incident during an on-air inteview. A brave Belleville West High School senior internvened to help stop the fight. If your son or daughter is a victim of a student “bus” bully, here are a few strategies to help– suggest sitting in the front of the bus, make sure to sit around friends, and tell the bully to stop. Parents should document all concerns and contact the school to inform them of the problem.
